Curried Lentils

Delicous Indian Recepie... serve on a bed of hot Basmati Rice... mmmm...

You will need:

- Lentils

- Curry powder

- Onions fineley chopped

- Carrots finely chopped

- Turmeric Powder

   First heat the oil in a pan and wait until it has a good temperature, then add the onions and the carrots and stir-fry for a little bit...

After that.. add the turmeric powder and the curry and stir fry with the veggies... After you have done that ( and the lentils are cooked) add the veggies with the curry... and wait until cooked...

Serve in a bed of hot rice...

Mango Chutney...

Mango Chutney is a great complement to a Chicken Curry or any other Indian or Middle Eastern Food...

YUM!!

You will need:

- Mangoes ( preferance)
- Brown sugar
- Vinegar
- Red onions
- ginger (grated)
- curry poweder
- Raisins
- Chile Flakes
- Pineapple juice
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.


In a skillet, heat the oil and put in the Chile Flakes... Add the onions and wait until soft. Then add the ginger and finally, the sliced mangoes...

In a bowl, combine: pineapple juice, curry, vinegar and sugar... then add the mixture to the pan, stir...

Bring it down to a simmer and continue stirring for 30 minutes. Add the raisins and let for 1 minute...


    Enjoy with chicken curry or any other indian dish... YUM!!


















Chicken Curry

This delicious recepie, used curry a Middle Eastern and Indian Spice...

You will need:

- Chicken

- Curry

- Onions

- Veggies: peas, baby carrots, etc...

- Coriander

- oil of preferance

- Garlic (optional)

- Turmeric powder

In a bowl, combine: oil, curry (paste or powder), turmeric and chicken... put the marinade and let sit for a full hour...

Heat the oil in a skillet and wait until hot... when the oil is hot, add the onions and let them brown... after that, add the garlic and wait until brown... add the chicken and wait until the sauce is like a gravy... then add the veggies and continue cooking...

When ready... serve in a bed of hot rice or basmati rice... with mango chutney... Yum!! (optional)

Marinara Sauce

Pomodoro Sauce is an italian sauce usually eaten with pasta, olive oil and parmesan cheese...

You will need:

1. onions
2. tomatoes
3. olive oil
4. Salt and Pepper
5.oregano
6. basil
7. chopped garlic

First, put some olive oil in the pan, then put the chopped garlic and sauteé until brown, after that, put the onions wait to throw the tomatoes in until brown. When brown throw the tomatoes in, then start cooking it. Wait a little bit and continue cooking it...

Enjoy!
Marinara Sauce!
